OWNERS HARVEST NOTES

"The main harvest is Rambutan and it involves about 3 months work total. The nets are put up about March, and fruit picking is usually done in April/May. The fruit is washed and packed in 7kg cartons, and most of our fruit is shipped to Brisbane and Sydney markets with a small amount sold locally. This current year (2018) we picked, packed and sold over 1.7 tonne of fruit. The work is not hard, but once it is picked, it has to be processed and put into the cold room."
